A very warm welcome to Essentia de Vita.
My name is Clarisse and I hope you enjoy your visit to this peaceful space.
Essentia de Vita translates into 'Essence of Life'. I have worked long and hard in search for this 'Essence' when all along it was staring me in the face, it stares us all in the face. This 'Essence' is the TRUE YOU.

A bit about me...
For me this is a very exciting time, a time where I am transitioning from the mainstream corporate environment in to complementary therapy in order concentrate on my spiritual journey which started some 30 years ago with a dabble in meditation.
As a Reiki Master and Tarot reader I am in awe of the positive changes that energy work and tarot can bring to all areas of life.
Reiki has deeply transformed me. The Reiki spiritual way of life is a life of love, peace and harmony and it aligns us with our true self.
It's given me space to move out of my day to day busy mindset and embrace a healing, meditative and more peaceful way of living, a way of life I feel compelled to share with others.
The ultimate goal is to make what I love doing and how I live my life my work. Work that I want to share and spread as wide as I possibly can, with as many as possible. I don't think it gets much better than that and for that I will be forever grateful. Life is good.
I am currently available Tuesdays, Fridays, most evenings and weekends, so please do contact me for an appointment.

The Inspiration
The Mudra hands leaning against the wall in this photo is the inspiration behind the Essentia de Vita Logo. I came across these beautiful hands on a well know auction site by chance.
To me these hands represent sharing and giving. The sweeping gesture denotes ‘to all’, reach as far as you can and touch as many souls as possible. They are also adept at dealing Tarot cards.
In the final logo, the hands emerge from water, the source of life, for nothing exists without water. The reflection represents ‘as above, so below’……, meaning we are creators of our own lives, here and now. Our Heaven is what we make it, or not!
In the centre is a ball of chi (energy). Everything is energy. Quantum Physics proves that solid matter does not exist in the universe. In Albert Einstein’s words ‘Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics'.
The hands are a conduit for this energy which offer healing and nourishment to everything they touch.
When asked what Reiki is/does, it is impossible to articulate. The Essentia de Vita logo is my visual interpretation of what Reiki means to me.
Today these hands sit in my therapy room ready to shine light, deal the tarot deck and welcome all who enter.
